HOLY ART

Collaboration with specialised artists and technicians has allowed us to intervene in the restoration of sacred buildings, creating flooring and elaborating artistic objects with a fine finish, such as: altars, amboes, chairs, balustrades, baptismal fonts, candleholders and all interior sacred furnishings.

CHAPELS

Chapel renovated in 2007 to a design by Father Angelo Pavesi.

ALTARS

The altar, which forms the centrepiece of the entire chapel, symbolises Christ, the rock on which we build our lives. It is shaped like a basket and is intended to recall the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves performed by Jesus.

AMBONS

The ambo is the table of the Word. It is advanced towards the assembly to make the proclamation of the word more visible. It is firmly rooted in the earth-coloured floor of red Verona marble and acts as a link between the assembly hall and the presbytery. In the second picture, the ambon made of red Francia marble and polished Carrara.

TABERNACLES

The tabernacle is sphere-shaped, symbolising divine perfection, as well as the world. It is set into the crucifix in the shape of a ‘T’ (tau, the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet).

CELEBRANT SEAT

The See is the presiding place from where the priest presides over the community gathered in holy assembly. It is distinguished by a raised backrest compared to the other seats reserved for concelebrants.
